Happy Mother's Day to you Nancy
May your 2010 Mother's Day be spent soaring among the angels, and your family here not mourn your passing but chose to remember all the things that made you smile.
May your memory be carried on for generations and your spirit linger in the souls of those lives you touched before god called you home to him.
May your gentle love be felt in everyheart that felt your love before; this Mother's Day and the years to come.
To you it will be a flickering moment before your children meet you at those gates, to them it will seem like an eternity.
Be with them in every warm summer's breeze, and every spring rain drop that hits their cheeks. Every winter's snowflake and every autums falling leaf.
Let them feel your gracious warmth now and everyday until they meet you again.

Don't weep at my grave,
For I am not there,
I've a date with a butterfly
To dance in the air.
I'll be singing in the sunshine,
Wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind,
While I'm waiting for thee.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.

Thank You Mother

Thank you mother- for all that you have done,
You took great care, of your daughters and son.
You loved us all from the very start,
with your warm, kind, and loving heart.
Thank you mother, for being strong,
While trying to teach us right from wrong.
If anytime, we had a problem,
you were there to help us solve them.
You'd lift us up, when we were feeling blue,
Thank you mother, for we could always count on you.
You were such- an awesome mother,
The love you showed was like no other.
Thank you mother- for your dear, sweet love,
Now you'll watch over us from heaven above.

A Daughter's Promise

Every time that I smile,
Every time that I sigh,
I think of your face,
And a tear escapes my eye.
You were my world,
My inspiration and my heart,
But when you left me,
I thought I would fall apart.
You were my best friend,
My one true 'confidante',
And that's not all you were,
You were also my mom.
I didn't want to live without you,
But you would have wanted me to,
And if there's anyone I want to make happy,
That anyone is you
I would have given anything to have you back,
But I know now that it was meant to be,
For you are still watching from up there,
And I know you're watching me.
I'll make you proud mom,
I'm going to fulfill your wish,
You're going to see me and smile,
That's a daughter's promise.
